Tiger's Curse

So even though I'm not totally finished with this book, I need to rave about it! I love it! It's by Colleen Houck. It's about a girl named Kelsey who ends up in India with a mysterious tiger she grows to love. The tiger ends up being... well, I don't want to give it away. Read it!

I got an idea from the Tiger Cub blog. She is the daughter of the 'tiger mother' and goes to Harvard. She got comments to post about a day in her life at Harvard. Here's a day in the life at FJH (And just my life)

6:30~Wake up, shower, get dressed, grab a muffin on the way out
7:20~Get to school early to get extra help with Geometry homework. Teacher is busy with other students, so luckily her smart son helps and you get 100% on the assignment
8:10~School starts; correct worksheet, take notes, start new assignment
9:30~Homeroom; talk about Officer stuff
10:10~Science; watch cool video about the Sun, correct packet, take notes
11:40~US History; worksheets, video, book work
1:10~Lunch
1:35~English; write an essay, analyze symbols in The Pigman, worksheet
2:55~School ends, get in car and go to voice. Eat granola bar on the way
3:15-4:00~Voice
4:30~ Do Honors English post :)
5-6:00~ Online computer tech. (I'm 3 weeks behind, yea!)
6-6:27~Dinner
6:30-10:00~Play practice (We're doing The Music Man and I'm Zaneeta)
10:00-10:30 practice flute
10:30-11:00~Read, finish up homework

I was so happy the Mijatovic family came to visit! Even though we're not related my blood, we're family! My lovely grandparents The newlyweds invited us and their friends to see the lights at Temple Square, then enjoy some pie and hot cocoa at their adorable apartment, conveniently located right by the temple. Happiness wants to come into your life, in fact, it already has, so acknowledge and befriend it. Make it deeper and better with gratitude, consistence and effort. The good in the world is apparent and abundant, just like happiness. Focusing on the good doesn't mean we ignore the sad stuff going on, refuse to ever watch the news, or be ignorant of pressing matters around the world. It just means that you cling to hope, never give up, fight discouragement and let the good into your life. Let the good in, put some good out, let light radiate fr...
