Summa Tiiiime!

Summer might be my favorite time of the year...but my favorite season is Fall and my favorite holiday is Christmas:)
This summer has been so so so much fun! Of course New York was a highlight and so was Trek but I've also loved being able to sleep in (well once Marching Band was over) and relaxing.
Ballet was supposed to start this Monday, but because the new studio isn't done yet, it's going to start August 13th. I'm so sad! I miss it! I wish I could have done a dance camp this summer but it just didn't fit in.
You might be wondering how EFY went! Well...I didn't go. Apparently we signed up for the week we'd be in New York. We thought it would be the next week, but we were wrong. A word of advice from my mom, never schedule anything really important days after having a baby!
I was really disappointed I couldn't go but the trip was so worth it and I can go next year. Hopefully to a Stay-a-way camp! (In Hawaii:))
So that's what is goin' on right now!

HOLIDAYS

I was so happy the Mijatovic family came to visit! Even though we're not related my blood, we're family! Such fun! Thanksgiving with the Siskins ....And everybody else ;)

Make it your mission to notice the good in every day life. One thing that you can count on is the sun. It rises, it's warm, it gives light. Things we need. Things that are good, life sustaining, bright. Happiness is not a side affect of a perfect life. Waiting to be happy is just plain silly. Happiness wants to come into your life, in fact, it already has, so acknowledge and befriend it. Make it deeper and better with gratitude, consistence and effort. The good in the world is apparent and abundant, just like happiness. Focusing on the good doesn't mean we ignore the sad stuff going on, refuse to ever watch the news, or be ignorant of pressing matters around the world. It just means that you cling to hope, never give up, fight discouragement and let the good into your life. Let the good in, put some good out, let light radiate fr...
