Catching Up

It's been awhile! I blame it on Honors Chemistry. I don't know why I took that class, I'm not particularly good at science and it doesn't really interest me. We've done colligative properties, stoichiometry, molar mass, molality, atm and balancing equations. Does that bring back any bad memories from High School anyone? ;) My teacher, Mrs. Laub is great, I switched to her class at semester because my last teacher was good but not my style. We have a test every other week, so that averages to one class period to learn a new lesson. With science, I don't catch on that quickly. My friend and I were talking about it and we compared it to an ice cream truck coming down the street. Everyone quickly finds there wallets with a few dollars while you slowly, carefully get out yours. By that time the truck is gone and you don't get the ice cream, even though you eventually found your wallet. That's exactly how I feel!
Dance Company, Wind Ensemble, ballet, modern, jazz and flute, AP US history, Honors English have kept me happy and given me two nervous breakdowns. Sometimes I look at 4.0 students and my mom and people in my chemistry class and wonder How do you do it?? I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying really hard to enjoy High School and I do, but my classes are so challenging with the extra curricular stuff on top. Aaaaah!
Well anyway, I got my partiarchal blessing and RUBY AND MY PARENTS AND I ARE GOING TO COPENHAGEN AND PARIS IN MARCH!! So, really I have nothing to complain about. My life is perfect. Even with the specific heat worksheets that I have know idea how to do :)
Tried to see Tori's One Act, when it was sold out we took a ballet picture while we were waiting for the next Act
Freestone's 5th Grade Program. He was a Magellan singer. I loved hearing the songs about the United States, since I know what they mean because of APUSH. I cried a little at the memories, cute kids and salute to the past soldiers in the audience.
They all went to Brian Head for the weekend while dad and I stayed home for school and work and going out to eat
Mom and Dad went to NYC, we babysat, they brought home Levaine Bakery cookies :)
I had a horrible, long cold and then a sinus infection. Finally a doctor visit and antibiotics made me better
Ruby's birthday!! Gpa and gma took us to lunch and to Sweet Tooth Fairy for a cupcake
Put down Christmas from my room
Saw Sleeping Beauty at Capital Theatre by Ballet West
 Olympics!

Dance Company workshop/state at BYU. We got Superior on both dances and our President got a full scholarship and won best choreographer. The dance workshops were fun but I got my least favorite styles; Irish and Urban! I wanted Bollywood so bad!! All I could do was laugh. Improv and Technique were fun and even Irish wasn't so bad because of the teacher. The car ride home was hilarious!!

 Sleeping Beauty

The day before the BYU thing my mom, Tolly and I drove to and from St. George for a band thing. We saw the temple, visitors' center and Brigham Young's winter home. We also got Grape Oreo bubble tea at Swigg, yummy. It was such a fun, quick trip!!
Tizzy's birthday! Can't believe she's two! I let her do my makeup and play her little flute. I give her my old curved head joint and she sings a note and blows into it. It's adorable! Next amazing flutist!

So my parents are off to Paris with Freestone and Tizzy. Lucky ducks! My grandparents are staying with us some of the time, but a lot of babysitting and homework is in-store for me this next week and a quarter so I was kinda stressed out. I spaced all my homework and remembered at 11 pm last night that I had a 100 question biology test, 2 Honors English assignments (That included reading) and 6 pages of math. So I woke up at 6, did it, planned to do the math during lunch and got ready in about 2.7 minutes. Luckily, I had tutorial so I went to get Algebra 2 help and finished that. Yay! And my science test turned out to be good, I could use notes and a textbook. I am so relieved right now and I think Heavenly Father helped a lot today. The Epic of Gilgamesh has nothin' on me today! :) PS Have fun in Paris guys! We'll miss you but not too much, I mean You're In Paris! :)

Happy New Year!

2014 will be a great year! It's 1:46 am right now so I will blog more tomorrow but I just can't believe it's January and the start of another brand new year! Yay for 2k14!!! On New Years Eve I went to a friends house to party! We watched Back to the Future and had treats, played games, and talked. We counted down, watched the ball drop, made fun of Miley Cyrus. There were a lot of people so it was really fun. On New Years Day we visited Nana, saw Frozen, went to Coco's and dad, mom and Ruby and I went to dinner. I'd been wanting to go to Rio Grande for awhile so we drove up to SLC. When we got there it was closed! So, change of plans, we went to Royal India in Bountiful instead. I'm so glad we did!! I love Indian food and it was delicious!! We got garlic, regular and a sweet naan and lamb sagg, coconut chicken and butter chicken and a mango lasse! Heaven. It was fun to just spend time with my parents and Ruby. They are really good about taking time to give u...
There are so many things that make up a person. I know that "things" isn't the right word, but I can't think of something that adequately describes what a person even  would  be made of. Dreams, accomplishments, interests, regrets, mistakes, wishes, relationships, etc. I love ballet. I want to teach ballet, and I want to dance ballet. It's part of who I am. But my heart also yearns for the actress side of me. The little bite of real acting that I got at the age of ten in a production of Babes in Toyland in Salt Lake City. The countless drives to Ogden for rehearsals of Music Man when I was twelve. The ten-hour dress rehearsals of Jana's plays throughout high school. I miss that. My heart yearns for the flute. The peak of my playing my Senior year when I was practicing daily and could play Carnival of Venice like a pro. When I began to see what my practicing had accomplished and considered going on to play in a symphony. I miss French. Learning an entire other ...
