Easter

A bit behind, oh well.

My whole family (minus Ruby who was in AMSTERDAM!) went to Arizona for some sunny cousin time. Sadly, I just could not miss school, so I had to stay in Orem. So I drove home on Saturday to visit Coco and Bill and relax at home. Taking baths at my house is so luxurious. I don't have one in my apartment, and whenever I go home I'm like This house is huge! This bathtub is amazing! Look at all this cabinet space! Hahaha, but whenever I'm home I miss my apartment a tiny bit too.
On Sunday, my grandparents picked me up for Music & the Spoken Word. I loooove Music and the Spoken Word and was so grateful to go on Easter and hear the MoTab sing "The Messiah." Each song was from the Messiah, and was so powerful. Being there in person was amazing.

Then we headed to Gardner Village for a delicious Easter Brunch buffet. After quite a long line, we got into the dining room and I couldn't believe my eyes. Food-EVERYWHERE! There was everything you could think of, from salmon/mushroom/spinach rolls (so delish) to fresh crepes to a chocolate fountain. It was so good and so fun.

About 5 or 6 years ago (has it really been that long??) I went to Gardner Village with my grandparents. We went to dinner at Archibald's and they bought me two very beautiful, very special snow globes. I still vividly remember that outing (I ordered chicken cordon bleu) and am so thankful for my grandparents' love and that personal time.
Walking around Gardner Village with them again was just lovely. It was sunny and the flowers were gorgeous. My grandparents are such amazing people. I will forever be grateful for their example. They know how important family is and they constantly show Christ-like love.

So my parents are off to Paris with Freestone and Tizzy. Lucky ducks! My grandparents are staying with us some of the time, but a lot of babysitting and homework is in-store for me this next week and a quarter so I was kinda stressed out. I spaced all my homework and remembered at 11 pm last night that I had a 100 question biology test, 2 Honors English assignments (That included reading) and 6 pages of math. So I woke up at 6, did it, planned to do the math during lunch and got ready in about 2.7 minutes. Luckily, I had tutorial so I went to get Algebra 2 help and finished that. Yay! And my science test turned out to be good, I could use notes and a textbook. I am so relieved right now and I think Heavenly Father helped a lot today. The Epic of Gilgamesh has nothin' on me today! :) PS Have fun in Paris guys! We'll miss you but not too much, I mean You're In Paris! :)

Happy New Year!

2014 will be a great year! It's 1:46 am right now so I will blog more tomorrow but I just can't believe it's January and the start of another brand new year! Yay for 2k14!!! On New Years Eve I went to a friends house to party! We watched Back to the Future and had treats, played games, and talked. We counted down, watched the ball drop, made fun of Miley Cyrus. There were a lot of people so it was really fun. On New Years Day we visited Nana, saw Frozen, went to Coco's and dad, mom and Ruby and I went to dinner. I'd been wanting to go to Rio Grande for awhile so we drove up to SLC. When we got there it was closed! So, change of plans, we went to Royal India in Bountiful instead. I'm so glad we did!! I love Indian food and it was delicious!! We got garlic, regular and a sweet naan and lamb sagg, coconut chicken and butter chicken and a mango lasse! Heaven. It was fun to just spend time with my parents and Ruby. They are really good about taking time to give u...
There are so many things that make up a person. I know that "things" isn't the right word, but I can't think of something that adequately describes what a person even  would  be made of. Dreams, accomplishments, interests, regrets, mistakes, wishes, relationships, etc. I love ballet. I want to teach ballet, and I want to dance ballet. It's part of who I am. But my heart also yearns for the actress side of me. The little bite of real acting that I got at the age of ten in a production of Babes in Toyland in Salt Lake City. The countless drives to Ogden for rehearsals of Music Man when I was twelve. The ten-hour dress rehearsals of Jana's plays throughout high school. I miss that. My heart yearns for the flute. The peak of my playing my Senior year when I was practicing daily and could play Carnival of Venice like a pro. When I began to see what my practicing had accomplished and considered going on to play in a symphony. I miss French. Learning an entire other ...
