Trips to "the school" with my siblings continue to be one of my favorite things
One day, when I was having a HORRIBLE day (more on that in the future) I went home. And went to the Jordan River Temple open house with the youth in my home ward. So basically my dad, Josh, Esmae, Xanthe, Freestone, and Celi! We got frozen custard after and mine looked quite like Freestone's hair

Tizzy sometimes scares us all. She learned how to ride a real bike recently! I helped her in the very first attempts, but later when I told her I would help her, claimed, "You don't know how!" She only likes "Dada." Which my dad absolutely relishes in. He has gone to every kindergarten field trip and taken Tizzy to Build-A-Bear without a reason.

I secretly think she likes me though. And she wants to be a missionary just like Ruby!

I went to the Cabin for the first time in years! It was so nice taking in the cozy weather, lots of good food, family time, reading, and relaxing. But the rain prevented s'more making, so I will definitely be going back!
Xanthe is so pretty! And so good with Instagram hashtags and photoshoots
 Easter!
My grandma is a culinary, baking saint.
Me experimenting with mousse, and Kaitlin KILLING it in a UVU arts performance. They hired aerial artists and dancers, and the UVU vocal performance majors were seriously amazing, and the hip hop from Millennium Dance was insane. Honestly, one of the best shows I've EVER been to.
Ruby LEFT!

HOLIDAYS

I was so happy the Mijatovic family came to visit! Even though we're not related my blood, we're family! My lovely grandparents The newlyweds invited us and their friends to see the lights at Temple Square, then enjoy some pie and hot cocoa at their adorable apartment, conveniently located right by the temple. Such fun! Thanksgiving with the Siskins ....And everybody else ;)
The world is big. It can be scary. It can be a lot of things, a lot of adjectives because well, it's the WORLD. But there is so much  good  in it. Make it your mission to notice the good in every day life. One thing that you can count on is the sun. It rises, it's warm, it gives light. Things we need. Things that are good, life sustaining, bright. Happiness is not a side affect of a perfect life. Waiting to be happy is just plain silly. Happiness wants to come into your life, in fact, it already has, so acknowledge and befriend it. Make it deeper and better with gratitude, consistence and effort. The good in the world is apparent and abundant, just like happiness. Focusing on the good doesn't mean we ignore the sad stuff going on, refuse to ever watch the news, or be ignorant of pressing matters around the world. It just means that you cling to hope, never give up, fight discouragement and let the good into your life. Let the good in, put some good out, let light radiate fr...
