Also on Saturday, I auditioned for a Mormon movie; My Time on Earth. It was the same day as Nutcracker tryouts and it was a great way to get my mind off it. Clytie Su came with me and we had a blast. It was so much fun! The dance was kind of hard mostly because it was hip hop and tap; two things I've never taken! There was about 300 people and only 30 made the first cut. So Clytie and I didn't make first cut but we had fun and did pretty well for 2 classical ballet galls!:) We were also seen by the director and they said he'd keep our resumes and pictures for future movies. But the best part was that we met a So You Think You Can Dance finalist! He was also trying out and he talked to us and was super nice! His name is Nick. Thanks Marianne for the notice and thanks Clytie for coming with me!

HOLIDAYS

I was so happy the Mijatovic family came to visit! Even though we're not related my blood, we're family! My lovely grandparents The newlyweds invited us and their friends to see the lights at Temple Square, then enjoy some pie and hot cocoa at their adorable apartment, conveniently located right by the temple. Such fun! Thanksgiving with the Siskins ....And everybody else ;)

Things that are good, life sustaining, bright. Happiness is not a side affect of a perfect life. Waiting to be happy is just plain silly. Happiness wants to come into your life, in fact, it already has, so acknowledge and befriend it. Make it deeper and better with gratitude, consistence and effort. The good in the world is apparent and abundant, just like happiness. Focusing on the good doesn't mean we ignore the sad stuff going on, refuse to ever watch the news, or be ignorant of pressing matters around the world. It just means that you cling to hope, never give up, fight discouragement and let the good into your life. Let the good in, put some good out, let light radiate fr...
