Tziporah

Wow! I had an amazing time in Pasadena. I can't believe I'm almost home, but I was so excited to see my family and sleep in my own bed with my view of city lights and sparkling snow. I will blog later with pictures and details about California but I had some major AP homework to do, but I need to blog about something else right now!
Today I finally got to see Tizzy after a week without her. She already looked bigger! After dinner and ballet, I was playing with her on the floor, trying to help her walk. She can do it well if you hold her hands. This time she didn't need my hands! She took her first steps to me! She was so proud of herself and just giggle after she got to me and let me hug her. Usually she's not cuddly but she must have been tired from taking almost 3 full steps! :)What an exciting thing! I'm so happy her first steps were to me! I can't imagine life without little Tiz, I love her so much!

HOLIDAYS

I was so happy the Mijatovic family came to visit! Even though we're not related my blood, we're family! My lovely grandparents The newlyweds invited us and their friends to see the lights at Temple Square, then enjoy some pie and hot cocoa at their adorable apartment, conveniently located right by the temple. Such fun! Thanksgiving with the Siskins ....And everybody else ;)

Things that are good, life sustaining, bright. Happiness is not a side affect of a perfect life. Waiting to be happy is just plain silly. Happiness wants to come into your life, in fact, it already has, so acknowledge and befriend it. Make it deeper and better with gratitude, consistence and effort. The good in the world is apparent and abundant, just like happiness. Focusing on the good doesn't mean we ignore the sad stuff going on, refuse to ever watch the news, or be ignorant of pressing matters around the world. It just means that you cling to hope, never give up, fight discouragement and let the good into your life. Let the good in, put some good out, let light radiate fr...
