room rambles

I've been thinking about my room and how I can change it without changing it a lot. I like my turquoise walls but I'm ready to move away from the cozy brown and gold to fresh colors like white and orange and mint and maybe even a little pink! I also want to add more Europe or traveling stuff to it. Not too much, but maybe just some pictures with cute frames. In France teenage rooms are quite small with bright colors and lots of posters on the walls. And armoirs. No walk-in walk-in closets. I love my long big bedroom but sometimes the low ceilings make it hard to arrange furniture. My bed can only be in one place but that's fine since it's by the window that I love to look out of every night:) looks like I will be hitting pinterest when I get back:) ( after Girls Camp and my dance company workshop that is;) )
The room I'm staying in has these cute French posters

HOLIDAYS

I was so happy the Mijatovic family came to visit! Even though we're not related my blood, we're family! My lovely grandparents The newlyweds invited us and their friends to see the lights at Temple Square, then enjoy some pie and hot cocoa at their adorable apartment, conveniently located right by the temple. Such fun! Thanksgiving with the Siskins ....And everybody else ;)

Things that are good, life sustaining, bright. Happiness is not a side affect of a perfect life. Waiting to be happy is just plain silly. Happiness wants to come into your life, in fact, it already has, so acknowledge and befriend it. Make it deeper and better with gratitude, consistence and effort. The good in the world is apparent and abundant, just like happiness. Focusing on the good doesn't mean we ignore the sad stuff going on, refuse to ever watch the news, or be ignorant of pressing matters around the world. It just means that you cling to hope, never give up, fight discouragement and let the good into your life. Let the good in, put some good out, let light radiate fr...
