ACT

Well my mom wanted me to take the ACT cold. Which was going to happen anyway since I did not have time to study. I went to Davis at 8 am on Saturday. I was doing the writing portion so it went until about 12:30. I was in the same room with Emily A and I remembered everything so that's good. The English and Reading and the essay were easy, but I ran out of time on the math and I basically guessed on every single Science question. Also, the room was freezing! I think I have some major studying to do before the one in March. I'm just glad I have one ACT test under my belt. I want to end up getting above a 30 which is hard but I think if I pull my act together as far as math and science, I might get it. As long as I get above 26 I still qualify for Regents scholar.
Cross your fingers!!

HOLIDAYS

I was so happy the Mijatovic family came to visit! Even though we're not related my blood, we're family! My lovely grandparents The newlyweds invited us and their friends to see the lights at Temple Square, then enjoy some pie and hot cocoa at their adorable apartment, conveniently located right by the temple. Such fun! Thanksgiving with the Siskins ....And everybody else ;)

Things that are good, life sustaining, bright. Happiness is not a side affect of a perfect life. Waiting to be happy is just plain silly. Happiness wants to come into your life, in fact, it already has, so acknowledge and befriend it. Make it deeper and better with gratitude, consistence and effort. The good in the world is apparent and abundant, just like happiness. Focusing on the good doesn't mean we ignore the sad stuff going on, refuse to ever watch the news, or be ignorant of pressing matters around the world. It just means that you cling to hope, never give up, fight discouragement and let the good into your life. Let the good in, put some good out, let light radiate fr...
