The Drive

The 7ish hour drive to Las Vegas seemed to go by so quickly! We stopped in St. George to have a picnic that Emily's mom had made for us. Chicken salad sandwiches, go-gurts, and fruit! We ate outside Swig and also enjoyed a Swig cookie and drink. The back was a little squishy with three adults, but nothing Em, Ash and I couldn't handle or laugh at.
Then we were in Vegas!! Walking into the airport was a little surreal and so exciting. The trip had seemed so far away, and with college, I had hardly any time to think about the trip. But we got our bags checked and got out our passports it was real. I was going to Rome with two of my best friends!

The world is big. It can be scary. It can be a lot of things, a lot of adjectives because well, it's the WORLD. But there is so much  good  in it. Happiness wants to come into your life, in fact, it already has, so acknowledge and befriend it. Make it deeper and better with gratitude, consistence and effort. The good in the world is apparent and abundant, just like happiness. Focusing on the good doesn't mean we ignore the sad stuff going on, refuse to ever watch the news, or be ignorant of pressing matters around the world.
