Freestone's Baptism

This was such a special day! Freestone got to be baptized with Jake and Collin (his cousins) on the same day! They are all such good friends and I'm proud of all of them for their decision to be baptized. The Holy Ghost is such a blessing in my life, and I know it will be in theirs too. Since Michelle and Jake are living with us at the moment, I've shared a room with Freestone. It's been great to bond together more. I read scriptures with him almost every night and tried to talk to him about baptism. The conversations weren't always successful with Free's big imagination, talkativeness, and how easily he's distracted. But when he could be serious:), he impressed me with his testimony and knowledge. The boys each chose their favorite color for the color scheme of the baptism. It ended up being surprisingly coordinated and cute together:) Lime green-Collin, purple-Jake, and bright red-Freestone. Lexie and Ruby gave talks, Grandma Dopp and Gus gave prayer

Birthday Surprise!

I went to Gateway with my parents for a birthday festivity and saw Monte Carlo (which was really cute, I loved it) and guess who we ran into? (Okay, so we saw them outside Rumbi Island Grill and ran out to get a picture with them) It was American Idol finalists Jacob Lusk, James Durban, and Casey Abrams! I love to watch American Idol and I was pretty excited to see them. They were super nice and down to earth. They were doing a concert tour the next day at Energy Solutions Arena, so they were wondering around Salt Lake, how lucky to see them!:)
June 23rd Yesterday was my birthday and now I'm fourteen! I went shopping with Coco and Ruby and got some new clothes. Thanks Coco! Then went to the pool and swam a little and shared a french dip sandwich with Ruby. My parents and I went to my uncle Josh's Open House for his new job and company. His office looks really cool and the people he works with were really nice. Congrats Josh! Then we went to The Cheese Cake Factory. I had my favorite meal and the chocolate coconut cheese cake was so yummy! We had a Dopp June Birthdays and I got jewelry, clothes, makeup and cute hair scrunchies and a Sugar Daisy Bakery cupcake. Thanks guys!  I had a great birthday and I'll have my birthday party with friends next week. I can't believe I'm fourteen!
Ballet Recital 2011 And of course we had to celebrate with Yogotogo! Nothing to do with recital. just a gorgeous pic. of a sunset:) We've been at Weber almost every day for 2 weeks and I love it! This year the theme was Once Upon A Time. I was hoping I'd be a Princess or Fairy, but I was Seaweed, a Rat and Christmas Feast! That's okay, it was so fun and I still got a Princess costume for my ballet dance! In my favorite colors! :) My teacher Marsha gave our everyone in our class a rose, which was so nice! Sara's mom was a lifesaver in Lexie's quick change and my mom helped me with mine too. This was my first recital en pointe and it was slippery and I couldn't breathe in the corset, but when you are on stage you forget about that. It was so much fun and all my friends are so fun and nice.  I'm going to work really hard next year!  I can't wait! I guess this is the end of Once Upon A Time 2011 Ballet Recital. So... The dancers l

Freestone's Party!

Ruby, Ari and I all had our 8th birthdays at the Lion House. I think it was my favorite Birthday party ever! I want to work there when I'm older, way older:). It is in Brigham Young's past house. The hostess tells pioneer stories; how the house came to be and other fun stuff. Did you know he had 56 kids?! No wonder the house is so big. We played Button, Button Who Has The Button? And ate little sandwiches, lemonade, pretzels and carrots and cake and ice cream of course! I love the cake, it is so yummy. The chef hides 1 gum ball in the cake and whoever finds it in their slice of cake gets a whole year of good luck! This time Tanner got it. Henry, Chase, Tanner, Jake, Ari, Ruby, mom, dad, me, Jackson and Collin and obviously Freestone came. The boys got to wear coonskin hats with real raccoon tails and the girls wore pioneer bonnets. Free got some cool gifts and he loved being the leader where ever we went. The boys had lots of fun, especially when we got to pul
Peter Pan Thanks for the flowers Ari and Dad, and Lexie for yours! Dress rehearsals I loved the crocodile! AKA The Croc. My friends Emily, Abby and Becka were the croc. people This was so much fun to do! I love being at rehearsal and making friends or practicing a scene. I love being in the wings waiting to go on, excited to show what you have been working and becoming a new person, sharing your talents and being onstage! I don't know why I love it so much, well I do know why I love it so much, it's just hard to explain! :) When you're onstage you can forget about all your worries and become a new person, while at the same time being you. I made so many new friends and I loved being an Indian Dancer and Jane. Stewart's Gift Shop gave all the cast members a little gift for representing Kaysville. They've been in business for 50 years and this summer they are closing! :( The director spent 2 hours looking for the perfect thing for each par
