California Catch up

We went in March but I didn't blog about it! It was so much fun and we're glad the Jennie and Ryan Dopps could come! We ate pizza and cookies, swam, soaked up some sun, went to the tide pools, went on the Girls' Night Dinner with Dad, walked the pier, shopped, got lots of shells, saw a baby sea lion get rescued, sat on the beach, relaxed, and talked and got popsicles almost every day! Such fun memories! We'll miss you I.B.!!       I got a crepe at the Farmers Market called The Paris. Brings back memories! :) So good!! Ruby got Indian, yum! The class chicken-bacon-garlic-ranch-seacoast-pizza!!     Please ignore my socks n' crocks Finished my Honors English book on the trip Boo ya!   Blue sunscreen+A poor little bloody nose+ her adorable smile+ Creepy! But now you can see how menacing she really is! This was my favorite pizza! Green pepper, olive, pepperoni, mushroom
Palenta with tomatoe sauce and a Monte Cristo sandwich :) Today (April 21st) we had a picnic. Grilled cheese, crackers and strawberries Have you taken the time to notice a simple, pure, sweet strawberry today? Or looked out at the world and lifted your face to the sun? Or thanked Heavenly Father for all you have? If not, try it! Trying to be more healthy is making me feel so good! This is spinach, pork, mango, cheese, almonds and cottage cheese. Strangely delicious! I did fall off the band wagon majorly this week but I blame it on Ellison and Ari and my mom. They made cookie dough and cookies. Not just any dough, complete with oats, chocolate chips and walnuts! I couldn't resist! At all! I think I ended up eating like half a batch of the stuff! No joke! Back to being better tomorrow!:)
My lovely grandparents!

4th Grade+Crushes=Funny

Just had to share Freestone and Ari's note to Sam. Ahh Elementary drama/love. You gotta love it! As long as you wait to date until you're 16 and have awesome friends, it can stay this simple!:) Unless there's more hand codes Ari hasn't told me about yet :)

Xanthe's Baptism

X's baptism was such a wonderful day! I was able to give a talk and play Be Still My Soul on the flute with my mom. I was also able to help Xanthe get dressed when she came out of the water. She was shivering furiously even though the water was super warm. We hurried and got her into her dress, combed her hair and put on light pink flower clip in it. I gave her my pearl bracelet my mom and dad got me in China when they went to pick her up. She looked beautiful in her white and so pretty in her pink! I'm so thankful for Xanthe and the spirit I felt at her baptism. It was so strong! I cried through most of my talk and X's confirmation. I think I get it from my dad:) Congratulations Xanthe, you perfect girl! Add caption
