The Lot

This past weekend we went to The Lot  The Cabin. :) The weekend was filled with s'mores, relaxation, reading, 4-wheeling, beautiful scenery, perfect family time and good food. We went to Bear Lake for a day to start out the trip. It was pretty rainy, but the sun came out a few times and the water was still turquoise and the mountains still glowed. We got in the car for the downpour and pretended we were in a submarine-car, driving into the water. I see why it's been coined "The Caribbean of the West" We even visited Paris, Idaho. We googled Paris, ID and one link said, "Two things to do in Paris Idaho." And we were already doing one of them; Bear Lake. We laughed pretty hard. Two whole things to do!! ;) Such a fun little trip! Bear Lake Or as Tizzy would say, "Baiaaaaw Laaayyke??"

No Longer 16 going on 17

Yum!  I gave a talk on Sunday that I'll post later. My red lipstick from recital stained by lips in random places so I had to just reapply so it was at least even. It didn't end up looking horrible!  More yummy food from the 'Sunday King Prebirthday Barbecue Feast'  Lunch at ParkStone Trying on a 1.2 million dollar wedding ring at O.C. Tanner, just for fun! When he said the price, I got nauseous! haha, I'd be way too scared to wear something that expensive.  We tried to see Angela's artwork, but the gallery was closed. We peeked in and saw one of her pieces that was inspired by the pictures we took on our trip to Copenhagen! :) Amazing art!! Alright, so...I love looking at wedding rings and rings in general. We went into a little jewelers on Main Street in Park City. My dad mentioned to the lady that it was my birthday and she said they had a section of amethysts; my birthstone! She let me try one on and I loved it

Recital

This year's recital may be the best one yet. I loved the theme: A Tribute to our Musicians. It was just wonderful!! My dances... jazz-Peter Gunn modern-Slap Happy ballet with Marsha-Symphony in C ballet with Christie- Eine Kleine I am so thankful I got to take two ballet classes this year! Having ballet everyday taught me self motivation, strength, discipline and using time wisely. Plus, I really think it helped me as a dancer. Double plus, the girls in that class were so nice, funny and dedicated. They became great friends.  Brindi, one of the most adorable girls ever.  Emily doing up my corset, she's a gem. Also, look at our hair. If we ever get highlights, we're getting each other's color. Stawberry blonde and auburn red ballerinas  Christie got all of us roses! And Marsha had given my class red roses on our last day in class. They are both great teachers, not just because of that  I love Emily's eye makeup. She's so beautif
