Day 2

Shopping at UNI QLO (as in unique clothing), such a cool store! Yum!  We went to a fancy Mediterranean restaurant; Bouledsud. I got a watermellon salad, delicious ravioli and chocolate gelatto and cake. Mmmm! We shopped along 5th Avenue a bit and went into Tiffany's! So pretty and so expensive! We also went in Sahk's 5th Avenue which was cool. We didn't buy anything at either, but luckily there was an H &M and UNI QLO where I bought some cute clothes:) Gorgeous view! We went to MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) and lucked out with the free Friday night deal. We favorite was the Starry Night by Van Gogh that was there! And then my favorite part of the trip.... NEWSIES! The theatre was of course gorgeous just like the Mary Poppins one and we were in the front rows of the balcony which were perfect ! The sets were really creative and the actors were unbelievable. We had a few understudy performers but they were just as good as the other people I'm sure.

New York New York!

One day we were thinking about travel and vacation. My parents figured it would be crazy not to go to Paris with the apartment my grandparents had and the fact that my dad hadn't been for so long. We started looking up flights and we ended up with 4 tickets to New York. I wasn't sure how we went from France to NYC, but I was so excited to be going!! It was very spur-of-the-moment and actually Freestone will be going to Paris for his 10-year-old trip! So Ruby and I started saving for the trip and thinking about what it would be like. This is Day 1.... The airport Our flight was a red-eye; leaving at 12 am and arriving at 6 am! The view from the plane was amazing with all the sparkling lights and skyscrapers. We got to our hotel, the Intercontinental and were pleasantly surprised to find they already had the room ready for us.The room was so pretty and the hotel was super nice! Our room Checkin' out the view We set our luggage down and headed immediately for the

Trek 2012

Leaving for trek!   I'm going to be honest; I wasn't excited about going on trek. I had heard it's a good spiritual experience and all that, but camping isn't my thing. Especially when you have get to sleep under the stars. This year the theme is Ether 12:27 . The night we were supposed to drop off our stuff mine was nowhere near ready. Note: I wasn't as stressed as my mom's blog post made it seem. She's more dramatic than me and I'm a teenager! My friend hadn't dropped it off either and a leader told us to drop it off the morning of at 6 am. When I got to the Stake Center, I saw a lot of people that I knew that were in my Company, but they weren't in my family. We all got different shaded/patterned purple bandannas to show our company and family. My Aunt and Uncle were Sister and Brother Dusenberry. They were so funny and nice! My big sister was Maddy Morgan and big brother was Landon Call. Two awesome almost Seniors that I already k

Tag! Are you it?

If you absolutely had to change your name (and couldn't use your middle name) what would you change your first name to? I love my name; Golda Cristine. It's unique and pretty and has meaning. I was named after my great-grandma Golda Jane. Cristine is my mom and grandma King's middle name too. We've all spelled it different ways which is kinda fun:) Kristine, Christine, and Cristine. Anyway, these are my top picks for my pretend name change ... Lucia Cristine Kingsley Jane London Elizabeth PS I also really like Aurelia and it means gold!:) Tag! You guys are it!
