eAstEr PicTUreS!

My "pile" :) Ruby and I weren't quite ready for the flash. Especially Ruby.

Happy Easter!

Our family is celebrating Easter today since we'll be in California for Easter. Tolly has been excited for Easter for a while now. Almost every day he'd tell me "Golda Easter is coming!" or when it started snowing he told my mom, "I wanted Easter, not Christmas!" Well the Easter Bunny definitely came to our house. Tolly was so excited:) Tizzy was too, she reaced in her basket and got an egg and started shaking it and laughing. Now she is going around like a boomerang vacuum stealing everyone's treats and getting super messy. We decorated eggs yesterday and they turned out great! Easter is so fun! This is why we celebrate Easter

Being silly

hehehe  Ruby is a character. Do you like the tape on my foot? My bandaid wasn't staying on
Happy pi day! I had Solo and Ensemble today and... I got a ONE! Yay! I assume I'm going on to state, but if they only have a certain number of slots, I think juniors and seniors usually get chosen. I played No. 4 and 5 from Suite in A Minor by Telemann. Thanks Jennifer for accompanying me!
Well you see, my plans for this summer just got totally, crazily, amazingly, perfectly changed. Now I won't go into too much detail (mostly because I don't know them myself:)) but I will be gone most of the summer to... EUROPE! Yes, my mom has some connections. We will be staying with a family who has a daughter almost my exact same age. We will be staying with them in Lille and her sister's summer house in Burgundy and regular house in Lyon. Then, (we had to take advantage of all our connections):) we will go to Spain to stay in a little Bed and Breakfast with my mom's old college friend. They will take us to the beach in Portugal too! Oh and did I mention I'm just going with Ruby and we have a stop-over in Iceland! Wow! I have the most amazing parents!!!

The totally awesome adventures of a High School student

On Sunday I went to a viewing for my friend's mother who passed away last week. It was so very sad, but my friend kept a positive attitude and showed me how strong she was. On Monday I missed school because of a cold which I know sounds super wimpy, but I couldn't let it keep going for weeks and weeks like my colds usually do. I also didn't want to be up every 30 seconds getting a tissue during class. So I mostly spent the day taking naps, watching Downton Abbey on my Kindle, blowing my nose, and eating ice cream. Not too bad! On Tuesday I didn't have school because the Juniors were taking the ACT. My mom, Tizzy and Tolly and I went to visit Nana and then went to Barnes and Noble. I got the perfect book there! Bunheads! I've already consumed more than half and must now force myself to savor it and read it slowly. Then we met Nikki and Grandma and dad at Cafe Rio for some seriously delicious sweet pork burrito time. Thanks guys! Then I accompanied Ruby and my dad to
Today I went with the Young Women and leaders of my ward and my dad and some other priesthood holders to do baptisms at the Salt Lake temple. I love that temple and it was so neat to do baptisms there again, especially with my dad. Afterwards a few of the girls stayed behind with my dad to walk around City Creek. We tried on a bunch of cool sunglasses, walked around H &M, put on makeup at Sephora, and just had fun. We didn't end up buying anything but my dad came back carrying a huge Macy's bag. We all laughed. Then we got fries n frosties at Wendy's. My dad is the greatest! Such a fun day. Love these girlies!
