Right before he dumped an ice-cold cup of water on my head Going to Cherry Hill was on my summer list, so I'm glad I got it done! It was fun, but I think I'd get a Lagoon pass (since I'm brave enough to ride Wicked) instead if I had to chose:)
This is the best tree house in the world. You can't argue! Last weekend we went to the Cabin with all the Dopps. Even though it's much more than a lot, the name kind of stuck since calling it that when it was just a piece of land. Now we have an amazing tree house complete with A.C., heating, lights, a loft, and a slide, and a deck! Pretty darn cool. Ruby, Ari, and I slept in it the two nights. We had an air mattress that blows up to about four feet high so we were very comfy!:) We also have 4-wheelers, a little pool, a swing set, the slide, and crafts! Thanks so much grandma and grandpa for building all this, for cooking for us, loving us, and giving us amazing memories!! BTW: In the first five minutes I got there my hair was messed up, I had marshmallow in my eyebrow, and I smelled like mosquito repellant. Grandpa's newest creation is the Snak Shak. It's an adorable shack for all things s'mores and also had compartments for chairs and marshmallows-roas...
The day started at 6:30 am. I was due at DHS at 7:30 to go to the Centerville parade. We all got in one of the 5 buses and were off! In true Davis Marching Band style, we were always on time or early. After the Centerville parade, we got a water bottle and a granola bar and headed to Kaysville. I had a nap on the bus ride:) The Kaysville Parade was a tad longer and hotter, but I was pleasantly surprised that both parades were shorter than I expected. It was fun (and hot) to march in the parades and sure gave me a taste of what the Rose Parade will be like. These parades were barely 2 1/2 miles long; the Rose Parade is 7 1/2! The crowds were awesome, and even though I couldn't see most of the people that cheered me on, I heard you guys! Thanks!:) I'm second from the top. Below another redhead:) Tizzy's first 4th! Lexie was in the Kaysville parade too, obviously as a Cheerleader:) And the Ry & Jen Dopps and Kings came over for a quick Doppwagon breakfast Ver...
